Commentary on Cyber-Psalm 10
Today begins a spiritual retreat for our mission in Mozambique. Many of us are worn out and spiritually needy. Many of us are dealing with isolation or various difficulties.
In this Cyber-Psalm I was trying to express some of the grief and mourning that many of us feel in thinking about colleagues that have left the field, about colleagues that are still on the field but in crisis and about ourselves as we think, “If it could happen to them, it could happen to us.”
Thanks for praying for us as we gather together to meet with counselors and in small groups and laugh, cry and worship together. I know our experiences are not unique. You might use this Cyber-Psalm as a basis for praying for a missionary that you know.
