Whoa, Nelly!
I’m having a lot of fun following people’s responses to Whoa to you who laugh. Is it OK to laugh about the dearth of humor in the Bible? Sure you can dig it up if you search really hard but on the surface The Book is pretty serious. Quite a lot of the time I think there is humor in the Bible but we don’t get The Joke. And it’s highly probable that The Author finds that very funny.

If I had known, I would have written a response to your question. I still might, because I think there is some seriously funny stuff in the bible.
